High market capitalization value

« Back to Glossary Index

A value whose market capitalization exceeds 5 billion dollars in the United States or 500 million euros in Spain. As it corresponds to an established company, its growth tends to be lower and more predictable, it is more closely followed by analysts, and its price, given the high value of the company, is more difficult to manipulate, so the volatility of the stock is usually lower.
